The FITstop assessment measures your level of fitness compared to others in your age group. We use equipment and exercises to measure your blood pressure, heart rate, flexibility, aerobic fitness level, abdominal and upper body strength and endurance.
Who does the testing? Student Health Advocates have been specially trained to administer this physical assessment. Is there a fee? No, this is a free service for UC San Diego students. How long will it take? It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete the assessment Where do I sign up? You do not have to sign up ahead of time - just walk in! Location: in RIMAC (by the lockers), Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m., or Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. (weeks 2-10) What should I wear? Wear comfortable, nonrestrictive clothes that will allow you to stretch and reach easily (shorts, T-shirt, sweatshirt). Shoes with flat heels such as running shoes, tennis shoes or walking shoes are required.
